There are three, and only three, possible timelines. If you claim a timeline other than one of these two, Then keep in mind that I will constantly be thinking this about it in my head:

"Wrong, wrong, wrongey, wrongo, wrongity, wrong, wrong!"
I'm just kidding...   ... or am I???

You heard me right. I do have evidence. It is called logical reasoning. Check out the discussion I mention below for details.

Keep in mind that each timeline has some flaw in it.

Important Points

Here are the strong-points of the various timelines:
Timeline A:

  • Since the Oracle series is in the Child Line in this timeline, Twinrova is still alive to revive Ganon since Twinrova only died in the Adult Line.

Timeline B:

  • The Prologue of TWW refers to the various Links from the preceding games.

Timeline C:

  • The Great Deku Tree's plan to create new land succeeds in creating a new Hyrule, explaining why the Hyrule looks like a bunch of connected islands in LoZ/AoL.

Other Info

Magnus orion and I had a long and detailed talk on the matter (see Timeline Talk for details).
See Zelda Timeline for the descriptions of the shorthand notations used here.
If you want to talk with me about either timeline the please do so on my talkpage, not in the Timeline Talk archive.
Don't know what games I'm talking about? I use my own game abbreviations. Well, most are the same, see this.
