Acheman
The Acheman is an enemy in The Adventure of Link.[1] It is a vampire-like bat-demon that is part of the monster horde that seek Ganon's resurrection. Although they do not disguise themselves as Hylians like Aches, they have a far more dangerous transformation.
Characteristics
Hanging from the ceilings of their abode, they may resemble Aches at first glance, albeit deep red ones. When it senses an intruder nearby it will swoop down like an Ache. However, when the Acheman touches ground, it transforms into a winged devil that spits fire at intruders. After a few volleys of fire, the Acheman will retreat into bat form and return to the ceiling. The Acheman is significantly stronger than its Ache relatives, but can still be killed with Link's blade.
