As is the case with all {{Plural|Series|Ancient Material|link}}, {{Plural|BotW|Ancient Gear}} were made by the ancient {{Plural|BotW|Sheikah|link}} and used in their machinery. In spite of their age, they are still more advanced than anything else that exists during {{BotW|-}}.<ref name="Inventory"/>
