Arn was the father of [[Link]] and at least one younger male child. He and his wife, [[Medila]] resided in a small home in the kingdom of [[Calatia]]. Link left his family at a young age. It is unknown what became of his sibling(s) (It is also uncertain as to whether [[Aryll]] was a child of Arn and Medila). During his absence, he received a notorious reputation. An impostor of Link had overthrown the kingdom of Calatia, and imprisoned the queen. When the unsuspecting Link returned home to visit his family, he received a violent greeting from Arn, and was told to never show his face again. Shortly after, Link discovered the cause to this, and set out to stop the impostor. After he had succeeded, his family apologized and welcomed him back. <ref>The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo Comics System, Valiant Publishing</ref>
