This enemy appears originally in Ocarina of Time, and hatch from small egg sacs. They are found on the ceiling in a huge circular room before the boss and Queen Gohma will lay them. They are also found throughout the Deku Tree in Master Quest. To defeat these annoying arachnids you can either pick their eggs off with the Slingshot or beat them off with your sword.
They also make an appearance in Twilight Princess, within the Temple of Time. They have somewhat more developed forms (now having four legs) however they are still rather easy to fend off. New to the Gohma family is an even smaller version of the Gohma Larva called Baby Gohma.
