Line 1: Line 1:
This is the giant wall of twilight that cascades over [[Hyrule]] that is only accessible by having someone in the twilight realm grab [[Link]] and drag him in. When you look at the entrance from afar, it is just a black wall with golden outlining. But when you go close enough, you see these strange markings written on it. If only we could know what these marks mean.

==Location and Uses==
The {{Term|TPHD|Black Barrier}} is only penetrable by having someone in the {{Term|TPHD|Twilight Realm|link}} grab {{Term|TPHD|Link|link}} and drag him in.<ref>{{Cite|Last time, a shadow beast pulled you through the curtain of twilight... But if you want to go that way this time, you'll need the cooperation of someone FROM the twilight...like me!|Midna|TP}}</ref> When seen from afar, the entrance appears to be but a black wall with golden outlining, but when observed at a closer distance, strange markings are seen written on it. Any non-{{Term|TPHD|Twili|link}} passing into the {{Term|TPHD|Twilight}} without the protection of the {{Term|TPHD|Master Sword|link}} will be affected by its power and transformed, in most cases, into spirits. Although {{Term|TPHD|Link}}, as the chosen hero with the {{Term|TPHD|Triforce of Courage|link}}, is transformed into a {{Term|TPHD|Wolf Link|display=blue-eyed wolf|link}} upon passing through it instead.<ref>{{Cite|In the land covered in {{Color|TPHD Red|twilight}}, where people roam as spirits, you were transformed into a blue-eyed {{Color|TPHD Red|beast}}...  That was a sign... It was a sign that the {{Color|TPHD Red|powers of the chosen one}} rest within you...and that they are awakening.|Faron (Spirit)|TPHD}}</ref> When the {{Term|TPHD|Twilight}} is lifted from the province covered by it, the {{Term|TPHD|Black Barrier}} disappears along with it.

==Trivia==
*In an unused text string, {{Term|TPHD|Midna}} admits that {{Term|TPHD|Link}} can enter the {{Term|TPHD|Twilight}} even without her help, and apologizes for lying to him.<ref>{{Cite|...Link... If you want to go into twilight... crawl under...the bridge... ...I should tell you... You can enter the Twilight Realm...even without my help... I'm sorry...|Midna|TP}}</ref>
