Blind the Thief

Template:Boss

Blind was a thief who hated light. He was the boss of the dungeon Thieves' Town in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, who guarded the fourth maiden. He could change his appearance, and took the form of the maiden to trick Link, but if you lead him into a patch of light, he will reveal his true form.

This true form consists of what appears to be a demon made of flame, wearing a tattered white robe. To defeat him, Link had to slash at him repeatedly until his body collapsed, and his head would continue to fly around the room, spitting fireballs at him. Eventually the body would reconstruct, and grow a new head. Link would do this three times, causing the battle to grow in difficulty due to the multiple flying heads, until Blind was defeated, freeing the true maiden. He also leaves a Heart Container behind.

There is a character within a house in Kakariko village who references the building to being Blind's former hideout, showing that at one point, he lived in the Light World.
