Tiny fish that dwell in the many waters of Koholint Island. When swimming under water, use your sword to quickly eliminate them, but do not be scared, they do not pose a threat.

Cheep-Cheeps are actually very common enemies in the Mario series and have been since the very first game. There are many different species of them. Some have wings and can fly. Others are very civilized and can live above the water.
