Community:HTLOZ II
HTLOZ II is the successor to Hyrule: The Land of Zelda. It was founded in March 2005 by F3, Tempest, and IceSage. The web site is still considered a Zelda fan site, but has a larger focus on the community forums.
Contrasting with the design of the first HTLOZ, HTLOZ II features a non-flash, clean, custom-enhanced web design, created by F3. HTLOZ II's design is such that it stands out as a unique web site, without forgetting its long and drawn-out historical origins.
The site is also unique in that many of its members have been around for a considerable amount of time at HTLOZ or one of its many incarnations (many 5 or more years), and the community is one of the most tight-knit in existence.
Site Features
- Interact - Where visitors can access the forums, fan art, fan fiction, or links to other Zelda sites.
- Resources - Where visitors can learn more about the Zelda games and the online Zelda community.
- About - This is where visitors can read all about the history of HTLOZ, how to contact the staff, how to affiliate, or see more of F3's web designs.
- Media - The location for all of HTLOZ II's media content. This includes a link to the ZREO sister site, the Image Gallery, and Downloads.
- Archives - Where the web files for the original Hyrule: The Land of Zelda and Gamer Crossfire are preserved. Take a walk down memory lane!
Present Day
While HTLOZ II still maintains its content archives, in early 2008 the site dropped its home page, redirecting to the forums.
