To restore them, Link must offer them an increasing amount of Rupees. Once restored they will upgrade Link's armor when provided with the proper materials, though the max level depends on the total number of restored Fairies. Additionally, a fifth fairy fountain can be found, but it contains the Horse God [[Malanya]] instead, though his hands resemble those of a Great Fairy.
