The {{Term/Store|Master Sword Lv2||Series, ALttP, ALBW}} is a recurring {{Term|Series|Item|link}} in {{TLoZ|Series}}.<ref>{{Cite Book|quote= |book= E |publisher= |page= 131 {{Exp Game|ALttP, ALBW}}}}</ref> It is an upgrade to the {{Term|Series|Master Sword|link}} preceding the {{Term|Series|Master Sword Lv3|link}} and is the second strongest {{Term|Series|Sword}} in both {{ALttP|-}} and {{ALBW}}. The {{Term|Series|Master Sword Lv2}} goes unnamed in {{AST}}.

==Location and Uses==
==={{ALttP|-}}===
{{Term|ALttP|Link|link}} can obtain the {{Term|ALttP|Master Sword Lv2}} by taking the {{Term|ALttP|Dwarven Swordsmith|link}} trapped in the {{Term|ALttP|Dark World|link}} back to his brother in the {{Term|ALttP|Light World|link}} to the {{Term|ALttP|Blacksmith's Forge|link}} east of {{Term|ALttP|Kakariko Village|link}}. As a token of gratitude, the brothers will upgrade the young hero's {{Term|ALttP|Master Sword|link}}. However, the forging process takes time and {{Term|ALttP|Link}} is forced to leave his {{Term|ALttP|Sword}} with them and wait. During this time, {{Term|ALttP|Link}} can perform the action of swinging a blade without one in his possession, but cannot deal damage to enemies this way. {{Term|ALttP|Link}} must use items if he wishes to defeat enemies before retrieving the {{Term|ALttP|Master Sword Lv2}}.

Tempering the {{Term|ALttP|Master Sword}} makes it much stronger, gives it a reddish-orange glow, and causes it to make a deeper swing sound as opposed to the usual slash sound. It is twice as strong as the {{Term|ALttP|Master Sword}} (making the {{Term|ALttP|Master Sword Lv2}} four times as strong as the {{Term|ALttP|Fighter's Sword|link}}), but the {{Term|ALttP|Sword Beam|link}} still retains its original power and continues to do so even as the {{Term|ALttP|Sword}} is upgraded again.

==={{ALBW|-}}===
The {{Term|ALBW|Master Sword Lv2}} is obtained by bringing two pieces of {{Term|ALBW|Master Ore}} to {{Term|ALBW|Hyrule}}'s {{Term|ALBW|Blacksmith|link}} at the {{Term|ALBW|Blacksmith's Forge|link}} in {{ALBW}}. It is three times more powerful than the {{Term|ALBW|Forgotten Sword|link}}, and its {{Plural|ALBW|Sword Beam}} are 1.5 times more powerful.

The {{Term|AST|Master Sword Lv2}} is obtainable in a [[Treasure Chest]] in {{Term|AST|Level 5|link}} in {{AST}}. Like the previous {{Term|AST|Sword}}, the player can rent the next level.
