Nayru (Goddess)

Nayru is one of the three creator goddesses of Hyrule. With her sisters, Din and Farore, she created the world in which Hyrule resides. According to Ocarina of Time, Nayru "poured her wisdom onto the earth and gave the spirit of law to the world." Upon leaving Hyrule, she left her part of the Triforce, the Triforce of Wisdom in the Sacred Realm.

Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom, is revered for creating the laws and physics of the universe that keep it in order. Her strength is defense magic, and her spell is Nayru's Love, which protects the user from damage as long as it is in effect.

Besides being talked about in Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past, Nayru appears as a mortal avatar in Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, and The Minish Cap. In the Oracle games, she is the Oracle of Ages, who controls the powers of time, and in the Minish Cap, she can create a charm which raises the user's defense.

Because of her part in creating the laws of the universe, and because her avatar is the Oracle of Ages, it is highly likely that she is the Goddess of Time referred to in Majora's Mask. This would make her the deity who is worshipped in Ocarina of Time's Temple of Time.
