The master of the Woodfall Temple, it is Masked Jungle Warrior: Odolwa (オドルワ, Odoruwa) who has imprisoned the Guardian God of the South, as well as the Deku Princess, within his temple. His body covered in swirling tattoos, he is a blade dancer with a sword five times the size of Link himself. If Link is to prevail in his quest, then he must defeat Odolwa. Odolwa is also the culprit behind the sad state of Woodfall itself.

}}
MM3D is the MM3D of the MM3D. He is a tall, tribal blade dancer whose body is covered in tattoos. He wields a gigantic Sword several times the size of Link. Odolwa imprisoned one of the Four Giants, as well as the Deku Princess, within his temple. Odolwa is also the culprit behind the sad state of Woodfall, as well as the waters of the Southern Swamp becoming poisonous.
Odolwa attacks mostly with his Sword which has a long reach, making Link vulnerable as soon as he gets close to him. Odolwa will also defend himself using a large Shield, which makes hitting him more difficult. Odolwa is capable of making a ring of fire appear around Link. He is also capable of summoning Moths and Insect Minions, which will attack Link. These can be defeated for Hearts. Moths can be distracted with a Bomb, which will then blow up and kill them. It is possible for Link to avoid attacks from the Moths by turning into Deku Link, as the Moths will simply flutter over Link's head. They are also vulnerable to Odolwa's fire. Partway through the battle, Odolwa will start using a Spin Attack.

Odolwa attacks by slashing with his sword most of the time. If he hits you, it deals considerable damage. He will also perform a spin attack from time-to-time, which you'll need to avoid if you don't want to take some heavy damage. He will often summon a swarm of deadly moths. Plant a bomb to attract them, and when it explodes they will die. You can also slash them with the sword.
Link can shoot at Odolwa with his Bow to stun him, then attack with his Sword. Odolwa is capable of deflecting Link's Arrows. He is most vulnerable while he is dancing or attempting to summon insects. Link can also harm Odolwa in Deku form by shooting out of the Deku Flower found in the center of the room. Odolwa is also vulnerable to Bombs or any explosive object, such as the Blast Mask or Bomb Flowers, which can be found along the edges of the room.

You can attack him with arrows, and use your sword. Both work effectively, so it comes down to whether you want to close in on him, or keep to the sidelines. Use an arrow to stun him, and then run in and slash him with the sword. Be careful of his sword slash, as it's got a pretty far range. You can attack him too by diving into the flower in the middle and coming out right when he is above you performing his spin attack. You'll know his time is nearly over when he starts attacking you with more and more ferocity.
Once Odolwa has been defeated, Link will receive a Heart Container and Odolwa's Remains, freeing the guardian Giant of Woodfall. The Giant, as thanks for the rescue, will teach the young hero the "Oath to Order," the song which can call the Four Giants. Because its deity has been freed, the waters of Woodfall will no longer be poisonous. Afterwards, Link will find the Deku Princess, who he can bring home to the Deku Palace in a Bottle.

When he dies, he will relinquish his remains and the guardian giant will be freed. This giant will teach you the Oath to Order, the song which will call the four giants.
In MM3D, Odolwa has an eye at the back of his head which serves as his weak point. Link can attack Odolwa with his sword to stun him, leaving his weak point exposed. More Deku Flowers were also added to the boss room, so Deku Link can drop Deku Nuts on Odolwa's head to stun him. He can also knock Odolwa to his knees using his sword after an attack.
