Scoot Fruits can be bought either from the Kakariko Item Shop or the Lakeside Item Shop for 50 Rupees, and is found on the item screen after purchase. When Link uses a Scoot Fruit inside a dungeon, he is immediately transported to its entrance.[1] They only work in dungeons, and consequently may not function in certain circumstances. Unlike conventional items, Scoot Fruits disappear after one use. Since Link can only hold one of these fruits at a time, they must be purchased again after each time they are used.

Notably, the Runaway Item Seller asks Link for Scoot Fruit. If Link obliges, he is rewarded with a Silver Rupee, which amounts to a 50 Rupee profit after considering the cost of the Scoot Fruit that Link trades away.

Trivia

  • Scoot Fruits share many characteristics with Foul Fruits, as both are single-use items that can be obtained in the same shops and are items not held in Bottles.
