Snowhead Region

The land up in the northern parts of Termina, where a strange change in the weather has turned Snowhead from a calm spring to a blizzary winter.

Snowhead contains four areas: The first one encountered is Mountain Village, where a lone cabin sits quietly under a snow-laden landscape. Inside the cabin presides the Blacksmiths. North of the village is Snowhead Mountain, where a raging blizzard keeps everyone from proceeding into the temple. East of the village lie the Twin Islands, a frozen lake with two identical islands in the middle. Beware of Stalfos. A series of rope bridges allows passage into Goron Village, located farther east.

Since the weather has been so cold, many of the gorons have retreated into their shrine, low on morale, and also grieved at news of the death of Darmani. Only Link can release the tormented soul of Darmani, and put a stop to the sub-zero of Snowhead.
