The 2000 Tech Demo showed Link & Ganon having a one on one sword fight in the dark. People began to expect a new 3d Zelda from Nintendo that was as amazing as the tech demo. People were extremely dissapionted when the cell shaded The Wind Waker came out. People were hoping to see a new realistic Zelda and instead they got a cartoony game. This video, along with others like Mario 128, were just created to showcase the power behind the Gamecube. Fortunately, Twilight Princess brought realism back into the Zelda world and is even miles ahead of the demo.
