Stalfos

An enemy that Link has faced since the original The Legend of Zelda, the skeleton-knights known as Stalfos have always been a test of Links skills and cunning. Ocarina of Time saw Stalfos warriors armed with a shiled and sword. These enemies required all of Link's concentration and swordsmanship skills. The Wind Waker saw Stalfos as large, club wielding dinosaur-like skeletons, easily broken with explosives, but difficult to defeat with the sword. Twilight Princess once again re-introduces these classic enemies, this time humanoid, but armoured and carrying various types of shields and blades.
