{{Term|OoA|Subterror}} is a mole-like creature who sports sunglasses and a drill for a nose. It begins the fight by burrowing into the sand-covered ground and chasing after {{Term|OoA|Link|link}}; its path visible as a small bump in the sand. {{Term|OoA|Subterror}} cannot be harmed while underground, so {{Term|OoA|Link}} must use the {{Term|OoA|Shovel|link}} when it is within reach to dig it out of the ground, then strike it with the {{Term|OoA|Sword|link}} while it is temporarily dizzy. It will then saunter off and dive back underground. However, if {{Term|OoA|Subterror}} gets too close to {{Term|OoA|Link}}, it will harm him by spiking its drill nose upward through the sand. After taking enough damage, {{Term|OoA|Subterror}} will be defeated, leaving behind a {{Term|OoA|Fairy|link}} and a portal to the {{Term|OoA|Dungeon|link}}'s entrance. | |||
