The {{Plural|OoS|Magnetic Glove|link}} are used extensively, required to manipulate magnetic balls and {{Plural|OoS|Magunesu|link}}, as well as to pull {{Term|OoS|Link|link}} to a far-away {{Term|OoS|"S" Stone|link}}. The [[Ice#Icy Surfaces|icy floors]] of the ice section of the dungeon cause Link to slip and slide, making navigation rather difficult. This problem can be solved using the [[Snowshoe Ring]]. At a certain point in the dungeon, Link finds magical [[Ice Crystal]]s on the ice-themed floor. These must be thrown down to the fire floor in order to harden the lava, which allows Link to navigate further into the basement of the dungeon,<ref>{{Cite|Icy cores make piercing blades.|Owl Statue|OoS}}</ref><ref>{{Cite|The magical ice freezes all.|Owl Statue|OoS}}</ref> which contains a {{Term|OoS|Dial|link}} in the {{Term|OoS|Dial Room|link}} as well as a large {{Term|OoS|Lava|link}} lake.
