How do we know this enemy's Japanese name? If I recall correctly, it was only a boss added to the American cartridge... It was never in the Japanese version to begin with, so how can it have a Japanese name? LinkTheLefty 02:44, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

:Actually, it was in the Japanese version of the game - it appears in the boss listing for the game, as seen here. It even has the non-Japanese-version's boss name there next to it. 03:13, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
::I think it has the non-Japanese version's boss name there only to show it's exclusive? Why else would it be the only International name listed? Remember, it's a Wikipedia entry. According to this series of videos, Gooma was added to the NES version as another boss since the Japanese version apparently reused a boss... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shtPb6D-NFs&mode=related&search= LinkTheLefty 16:41, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Gooma and Guma Needs to be Harmonized
Seriously. Gooma's trivia details that it is a boss only in the American cartridge, and that Guma (the red thing with the ball and chain) was apparently the boss in the Palace of the Sea instead. Yet the Guma article hardly mentions this at all, and Guma's article classifies it as a 'common enemy' when it isn't at all, it's a boss in the Japanese version. In fact this seems so much of a big point, that I think this could also use some more detailed information put into it (if possible) instead of being a part of trivia. I believe that both articles need to be harmonized together. The Goron Moron 06:18, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
:Guma was hardly a boss in the Japanese version. Jeangabin 14:10, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
