Category links on main page

To be able to link to Categories without making them look like external links, just write what you would as if you were categorising a page and then put a colon infront of Category. Category:Zelda. Voila.

Sandbox

I made a sandbox here for people to experiment with edits.

Simply amazing...

Ah... Something to keep me busy. ^_^ Kudos to you, ZU, for coming up with this brilliant idea! Come to think of it, didn't I suggest something like this a year or so ago? Oh well, it doesn't matter.

I am pleased to officially (officially, hah!) announce that I will treat any and all articles of questionable grammar with utmost care. Please, if anyone has something s/he doesn't want to take care of right away, you should notify me. I find an odd enjoyment in editting the work of others. I don't understand it, but it should greatly benefit this latest addition to ZU. BTW, hi Peefy! :D

I have one quick question, though... Is there any way for low-clearance members to creat a new category? I would like to create one titled "Gamer Terminology" that will give definitions of terms and abbreviations that not everyone might understand.

Question

I have a question, i try to upload an image all the time but it fails me every time i try it. I tried it with every type of fyle, GIF, JPG etc. Does anyone know how to upload it correctly? Thanks in advance.

Answer?

Can someone please give an answer to my question? I want to know it :(

From your description there is no way to know what is going wrong, you need to give more details. Ian Moody 08:21, 3 Jul 2005 (CDT)

Images

I am also having trouble uploading images. I tryed to upload twinmold and it said

Internal error

Could not copy file "/tmp/phpYbGUjM"

to "/home/zunet/public_html/wiki/images/f/fa/Twinmold.png".

All fixed. --GoldenChaos 19:14, 15 Jul 2005 (CDT)

watch out for copyvios

Just now I was fairly shocked to find a blatant Wikipedia dump on Ganondorf done by Stylistic Vibe. It had been there for roughly two weeks and no-one noticed.

I would like to ask that when a complete rewrite appears on any article that you should be instantly suspicious of it, and check Wikipedia or other sources.

Oh and someone should inform that contributor about the specifics of Wikipedia content copying.

Thank you for your time. Garrett 01:51, 4 Aug 2005 (CDT)

Pages

I added some pages eailer today, and I just came back and they were all gone. I checked the log and it dosen't say they were deleted so I was wandering what happened?

The server seems to have been generally a bit weird lately, loads of edits keep disappearing and then reappearing later on or the next day. Ian Moody 21:08, 3 Oct 2005 (GMT)
