:Good idea. Perhaps it could be called something along the line of "post-battle reward(s)" (bit of a mouthful, but that would encompass items, people/creatures e.g PH spirits, ALttP maidens, and other stuff like the Elegy of Emptiness from King Igos du Ikana). --Adam (talk) 02:51, 7 February 2008 (EST) | :Good idea. :::Perfect, i've added "Reward(s)" as a new, optional field. Just insert "|reward = " into any existing boss template to use it. Also, I've made the "weakness" field optional; I don't like seeing bosses which have no particular/specific weakness having "sword, bow" etc written there just for the sake of filling the otherwise empty box! --Adam (talk) 14:00, 7 February 2008 (EST) | |||

Infobox code
Copy and paste the following code into an article and simply fill out the fields.
Title is optional, and should only be used if there is an in-game title for the boss like in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.
- Note 1: The Bosses category tag is not needed if this template is used
- Note 2: If the
name
is the same as the article game thename
parameter can be deleted and the article name will be used - Note 3: The
type
parameter is only for mini-bosses and should be deleted for boss articles

New section suggestions
If you have any suggestions for a new section for the template, or any modifications to a current one, please leave them here in a new subsection (Three = either side).
Guarded Item
The vast majority of mini-bosses and bosses guard some sort of equipment found in the dungeon. In the Forest Temple of Twilight Princess for example, Ook guards the Gale Boomerang and Diababa guards a Fused Shadow. Perhaps "guarded item" isn't the best phrase for this, but my suggestion on this addition to the template remains the same regardless of what it's called. --Douken 19:21, 6 February 2008 (EST)

Weakness
I got confused. In the Weakness section, what are we suppossed to write, the weak spot of the boss or the weapon to which they're weak against?
- I think either or both, depending on the boss, would be the best way to go. Ian Moody 17:25, 18 Oct 2005 (GMT)

Template broken!
Wow, I never even noticed, but the template now has an error it never used to: The type field no longer works, and all pages which use the Boss template are now categorized as both Mini-Bosses and Bosses!! --Adam 15:32, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
- This is sort of an old issue, but the only way I know of creating a field like that wouldn't work on this version of MediaWiki. I'm sure there's someway to do it, otherwise someone would have to go in and edit every single mini-boss or boss article. Does anyone know how to add the type field correctly? I would be willing to distribute the mini-boss template among all 150-or-so articles needed it, if it came to that, but... I want to verify that it's necessary before doing something of that nature. I'm a little paranoid about things like this, so I'd like to see it resolved in one way or another. --Douken 14:57, 5 February 2008 (EST)
Yay! They all work now! :D --Ando 18:31, 6 February 2008 (EST)
Nice work~ I'm glad the templates are finally fixed. --Douken 19:21, 6 February 2008 (EST)
