[[Tile Worm]]s are enemies found only in a few rooms of the [[Forest Temple]] and the [[City in the Sky]] of ''[[Twilight Princess]]''. They appear as a hideous, purple worm with a tile attached to its head; if [[Link]] steps on the tile, they lunge upwards, throwing him a great distance. They are impossible to defeat without use of the [[Gale Boomerang]]; the tornado that is generated by throwing the weapon rips them out of the ground, leaving them completely defenseless and incapable of attacking. Tile Worms in the Forest Temple are completely optional enemies, as there is always some way to walk past them, whereas those in the City in the Sky must be destroyed, as they throw Link into the abyss below.
