The Triforce is a mystical relic which will grant the wish of the one who touches it. An old Sheikah tale says that is someone with an evil heart touches it the Triforce will shatter into three pieces. This proves to be true when Ganondorf trys to get the Triforce, for it shatters leaving Ganondorf with only the Triforce of Power.
