I find the picture extremely boring. It doesn't show Morpheel's home terrain and looks fake because it's computer generated. It is highly detailed, but it looks like a sandworm because it's out of the water. The picture maybe a rendered version, but it's slightly bad quality. There is also a higher resolution on wikia.com found here. I'm not opposing this, because the image itself is good. My concern is with how this fits in to our current selection of featured images. At the moment we have seven images from Twilight Princess, four of which feature enemies or bosses. While the artwork from TP is unquestionably superb, I feel that we're including too much of it as featured content and thereby creating an unrepresentative selection of images. With the inclusion of this image, 24% of our featured pictures would be an enemy or boss in TP, with only 62% of the featured pictures coming from any other game. To me, that just seems like over-representation of a single game from a series of (now) 15; I'm not saying this is a reason not to feature this image (hence why this isn't in the Opposition section), just that we perhaps need to start looking at a more balanced selection of content. I'm trying this again. Mostly because the image was updated since last time. I did some research. The votes against the old one were unfounded. Screen brightness has nothing to do with it. The real problem with the old in one was the loss of the glow and some color information in Death Sword itself. This new version is exactly the same except the darkest parts of the background are transparent. The new version is just a vibrant as the other. Except that is new really easy to see regardless of the screen brightness, unlike the old versions. This version is also huge. The newer image is a lot better and actually better fits the Wiki page. As for the monster itself, it was the most amazing of all the mini bosses with it's ghostly wail and it's dark sword. Some may recall that I opposed this suggested replacement back in October last year, when it was first proposed. I think, based on the level of support this already has, it makes little sense to hold this back over such a small change as the background colour. Also, with Matt's recent addition of the "imageback" option (which I've now also added to the boss template), we could potentially simply overlay the image on a black background to recreate the original effect if desired. I can't oppose it according to the rules, but I definitely appreciate the original image more. As other users have stated, the black background adds to the ghostly feel, which is why the image probably became featured in the first place. Don't get me wrong- the new image looks great, and is done very nicely. However, it seems to pale in comparison. This is a great picture of Tingle from his own game and it also shows Uncle Rupee. Tingle being one of the more famous and recurring characters of the Zelda franchise I think he deserves to be featured and this picture fits those qualities.--Kresh64 21:58, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
