#Absolutely. I don't think there is any reason for this NOT to be featured. It has great resolution, a nice tease with the mysterious girl, great quality, and overall a very cool picture. This has MY vote! --[[User:Deku Link|DekuLink]] 02:38, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Morpheel

Okay, I was asked to nominate this one. It is a good image. It is large and highly detailed. It's pretty good. Worthy of being featured.User:Matt/sig 19:54, November 19, 2008 (UTC)

  1. This definatly depicts the boss extremely well. Just by looking at this picture you can imagine the boss swimming around. (Unsigned vote by L33TSkillz - see rule 6 above)

Opposition
  1. A detailed picture to be sure... but it is not a very interesting image and not the greatest boss. I do not believe it is feature-worthy.--HeroOfTheWinds10 19:40, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
  2. I agree, its a good picture and all but nothing is really going on its just Morpheel on a white background... Im sure if you tried looking you could find a more worthy picture of him to be featured but this one just doesnt cut it.--Kresh64 01:38, 3 December 2008 (UTC) Above votes negated per opposition guidelines at the top of the page. User:Ando/sig 01:53, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
  3. I find the picture extremely boring. It doesn't show Morpheel's home terrain and looks fake because it's computer generated. It is highly detailed, but it looks like a sandworm because it's out of the water. Gives me the wrong impression, I had to do a double-take. --Pr3c1pit0us (Talk) 08:47, 5 February 2009 (UTC) Above vote negated per opposition guidelines at the top of the page. User:Adam/sig 19:19, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
  4. The picture maybe a rendered version, but it's slightly bad quality. There is also a higher resolution on wikia.com found here. If we can get this rendered without the white, then it'll be good. - AtrumLevis  (My Talk Page) (My Contributions) 15:18, 10 May 2009 (UTC) I believe everything pointed out and requested in that opposition has been corrected and done. Therefore, the vote no longer applies. User:Matt/sig 00:06, May 14, 2009 (UTC)
  5. This picture is rather uninteresting, and seems to lack color. Also, as Yusei said, there is a version with a higher res on wikia. It doesn't really seem "feature worthy" to me. Alter  {T C B H } 19:06, 13 May 2009 (UTC) Vote withdrawn by voter. Alter  {T C B H } 20:00, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
  6. I think this image is to bland. It only shows his body, not how big he is in comparison to Link, not what terrain he is in, etc. --Purlo 15:44, 31 May 2009 (UTC) Above vote negated per opposition guidelines at the top of the page. User:Matt/sig 19:39, June 4, 2009 (UTC)

Everyone hold off one voting for this one either way for a while. We might be fixing some minor things with the image soon.User:Matt/sig 19:30, May 13, 2009 (UTC)

Matt, are you sure that you don't just want to freeze the voting since you were the one who nominated it, and it gets shot down with one more vote? :) Just playing. :D Alter  {T C B H } 19:37, 13 May 2009 (UTC)/
Okay, the new version is up. Bigger, better, brighter. Okay, mostly just bigger. Less blurry this time too. You may return to voting little peeps.User:Matt/sig 00:06, May 14, 2009 (UTC)
  • I'm not opposing this, because the image itself is good. My concern is with how this fits in to our current selection of featured images. At the moment we have seven images from Twilight Princess, four of which feature enemies or bosses. While the artwork from TP is unquestionably superb, I feel that we're including too much of it as featured content and thereby creating an unrepresentative selection of images. With the inclusion of this image, 24% of our featured pictures would be an enemy or boss in TP, with only 62% of the featured pictures coming from any other game. To me, that just seems like over-representation of a single game from a series of (now) 15; I'm not saying this is a reason not to feature this image (hence why this isn't in the Opposition section), just that we perhaps need to start looking at a more balanced selection of content. Death Sword

NEW VERSION
File:Deathhh.jpg
OLD VERSION

I'm trying this again. Mostly because the image was updated since last time. I did some research. The votes against the old one were unfounded. Screen brightness has nothing to do with it. The real problem with the old in one was the loss of the glow and some color information in Death Sword itself. This new version is exactly the same except the darkest parts of the background are transparent. The new version is just a vibrant as the other. Except that is new really easy to see regardless of the screen brightness, unlike the old versions. This version is also huge. Actually bigger than the old one that is currently featured.User:Matt/sig 00:21, January 20, 2009 (UTC)

  1. This picture isn't all that great at the size it is now. But it's quite stunning when you enlarge it. It really should be replaced.--Link hero of light 02:02, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
  2. Though both versions of this picture look great, this new one is totally sweet! The mist surrounding Death Sword gives the image the ethereal quality that you would expect from a ghost. Truly awesome ;)User:Mandi/sig 04:43, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
  3. Death Sword was my favorite TP boss, and that pic is awesome! It really shows more of it's face.--SethOmega 04:42, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
  4. As with the Faron picture from before, this image is far superior than its unrendered predecessor and should replace it as a new featured image. Mases 20:54, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
  5. I'm gonna have to support this. The render is extremely professional and worthy of featured picture. --DekuLink 19:03, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
  6. I'm supporting this picture. This is truly great artwork, as both versions are the picture show the death sword great, especially the new one.Shnappy 07:48, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
  7. The newer image is a lot better and actually better fits the Wiki page. As for the monster itself, it was the most amazing of all the mini bosses with it's ghostly wail and it's dark sword. Makes me wonder what it was and why exactly it was sealed. - AtrumLevis  (My Talk Page) (My Contributions) 18:35, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
  8. It reminds me of a Nazgûl from LotR. I love it. Gammadiologist 20:05, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
  9. Some may recall that I opposed this suggested replacement back in October last year, when it was first proposed. I think, based on the level of support this already has, it makes little sense to hold this back over such a small change as the background colour. Also, with Matt's recent addition of the "imageback" option (which I've now also added to the boss template), we could potentially simply overlay the image on a black background to recreate the original effect if desired. 1. I don't know how we stand on personal opinion when it comes to New Images Vs Old, but I'll take a risk. All I can say is the background of the old one is half the reason I like it. The new one does look good, but I still like the old more more than this one. --Felicia's Champion 09:01, 23 February 2009 (UTC) Above vote negated per opposition guidelines at the top of the page.User:Matt/sig 00:36, March 1, 2009 (UTC)
  2. The new pic makes Death Sword easier to see and makes it seem more solid, therefore taking away some of the ghostly quality that it should have since it's just that,a ghost.--Bolter1 05:56, 25 March 2009 (UTC) Above vote negated per opposition guidelines at the top of the page.User:Matt/sig 18:28, May 12, 2009 (UTC)

  • I don't want to make anyone upset or complain too much (it is because of that I didn't write this as an opposion) but once again, this is just the same picture with a swap of backgroundcolor. The same thing applies on the picture of Faron that became the new featured picture. --Olle93 23:09, 1 February, 2009 (UTC)
Change of back ground color can make a world of difference but, this image had more then just a "back ground color swap". For one, the old image was slightly cut-off (this one isn't), and the new version is larger, not to mention easier to see :)User:Mandi/sig 04:28, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, on my computer the new version isn't larger, it actually seems a bit smaller than the new one, but maybe that's something that's just wrong with my computer... Anyway, I kinda think that the old backgroundcolor was better for a "dark" monster like death sword. --Olle93 18:15, 3 February, 2009 (UTC)
  • i think it is god but i think it takes away the quatiy --Link6767 18:20, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
  • I can't oppose it according to the rules, but I definitely appreciate the original image more. As other users have stated, the black background adds to the ghostly feel, which is why the image probably became featured in the first place. Don't get me wrong- the new image looks great, and is done very nicely. However, it seems to pale in comparison. Just eep in mind that not all images look their best when transparent. Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland

Official Art From TRR

I think this is a great work of art from TRR, and it shows the complete nature of the game, along with some rare images of our favorite characters. It is an enjoyable piece of work, with a light-hearted atmosphere.Alter  {T C B H } 21:56, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

  1. Great image. Much better than the one I nominated a while ago.--Link hero of light 16:26, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
  2. This is a great picture of Tingle from his own game and it also shows Uncle Rupee. Tingle being one of the more famous and recurring characters of the Zelda franchise I think he deserves to be featured and this picture fits those qualities.--Kresh64 21:58, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
  3. I really like this image, as it shows the basic map for the game, the tower, uncle Rupee, and ofcourse Tingle! It is very well drawn, and I think that it definetly is worth being featured.

Link and Ezlo

File:Link and Ezlo.png

This image never got a fair run. The opposition against it last time was invalid but we did not have the guidelines then. This one is just so cool. Of the four images like this, this one is the best in my opinion. And the other three are featured. I say this one deserves that too.User:Matt/sig 20:43, April 16, 2009 (UTC)

Zelda Wii

Leaked artwork from the upcoming game. It has a similar style to Twilight Princess and is very mysterious. It's also interesting Link isn't holding a sword.--Link hero of light 04:24, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

  1. The image has little chance of it being a hoax anymore. Aside from that, it is a great size and quality. It is likewise a great painting, and having this as a featured picture is definitely worthwhile, as it depicts the current hot-topic of Zelda Wii, which people are interested in greatly. Has my support.User:Melchizedek/sig 04:37, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
  2. I support Mases 04:56, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
  3. It's probably real. It's similar to what the people who were able to attend to closed-door press conference described. An artist probably wouldn't have whipped it up so quickly, either. That point aside, it looks pretty darn awesome. Decent size and rez, too. Alter  {T C B H } 05:24, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
