Ancient Hyrulean is a language found in Hyrule, from the depths to the sky. On the Sky Islands, this language used almost exclusively.

Overview

The Ancient Hyrulean writing system was introduced in Tears of the Kingdom, first appearing underneath Hyrule Castle on stone pillars and the ancient murals found by Link and Zelda as they descending deeper beneath the castle. The writing system is identified by Wortsworth as Ancient Hyrulean in the quest Messages from an Ancient Era[1]
