These enemies greatly resemble [[Moa]]s in being giant floating eyeballs; however, they do not appear to be ghosts and they behave rather differently. They travel around the screen for a short distance before opening their single great eye, which is [[Link]]'s only opening to attack. They gradually close in on Link and attempt to surround him, shutting their eyes to render themselves invincible. Also unlike Moa, Girubokku are always visible (whereas some Moas require the [[Cross]] to be visible) and they never appear in graveyards.
