The is the first TMC within TMC.
The Deepwood Shrine is the first dungeon within The Minish Cap. It is located behind the lost city of the Minish deep within the Minish Woods. The way out of the village and into the Shrine is guarded by the village's priest, Festari. The Deepwood Shrine is a bog-like dungeon with several cobwebs, mushrooms, and even a giant barrel located at the center of the dungeon. It is infested with Sluggulas, Pestos and Puffstools.

Link's reward for defeating the dungeon's mini-boss, Madderpillar, is the newest helpful item, the Gust Jar. The boss is a ChuChu that finds its way into the Shrine. Although it's a perfectly ordinary ChuChu, it appears gigantic and intimidating to Minish Link. The Earth Element is Link's reward for defeating the ChuChu.
Features and Overview
According to TMC, the TMC was once used by both TMC and TMC as a meeting place. He sends TMC there to start his search for the TMC who can reforge the TMC. However, after TMC opens the TMC, the becomes infested with TMC and shows no signs of TMC life.

When TMC visits the TMC, he finds the TMC directly south of the . Here, the TMC Elder, TMC tells TMC to seek out the TMC, one of which is hidden in the . The gives TMC permission to enter the , guarded by the village priest, TMC.

The TMC is a TMC-sized TMC that shows many signs of being long abandoned, due to the large amount of cobwebs lining the walls. The main room in the TMC houses a large TMC mounted horizontally on a pole. TMC must first remove obstructions at the ends of the pole and then run inside the TMC to rotate holes into position allowing access to the other parts of the TMC. Most of the puzzles in the involve pushing TMC or TMC onto TMC or using the TMC to open passageways. The bottom floor is flooded with water and TMC must use a TMC to navigate, using the TMC as the motor.
