Zelda Wiki:Bots
A Bot is a computer-run account on Zelda Wiki, used for automated maintenance of pages such as automatically fixing redirects when a page is moved. A bot's edits are usually expected to be in larger numbers, and as such they are be default hidden on the Recent Changes, but they can be shown using the page's options.
Current Operational Bots
The following is a list of all the bots Zelda Wiki current has operating.
Redirect fixer
Redirect fixer is Zelda Wiki's bot responsible for correcting redirect pages that point to a page that is moving. If the option is enabled in the move form, Redirect fixer will automatically fix all direct redirects to the page. But will not correct double redirects Those must either be fixed manually, or performed hourly by TheStoneWatcher.
TheStoneWatcher
TheStoneWatcher is the multipurpose bot which does some of the larger tasks we require. Such as maintaining template substitutions, welcoming new users, etc. For full details, see the bot's page.
