LegendofZelda.com was one of the oldest and most prominent sites in the Online Zelda Community, first founded in 1999. The site was led officially by [[User:Link of Hyrule|Link of Hyrule]], [[User:»-LasT-ChaNcE-«|Chance]], and [[User:Xizor|Xizor]], but Chance and Xizor, along with Forum Administrator [[User:Menelaus|Menelaus]], ran most of the day-to-day affairs of the site, with Link of Hyrule popping his head in every once in a while. LoZ.com's media was managed and updated by [[User:Incubus|Incubus]], with additions being made to fanart and screenshots regularly. Humor, freedom of expression, tolerance, and love of fun were enforced mercilessly. LegendofZelda.com's reputation of having strict and sometimes stolid moderators and administrators was well earned, and seemed not to be let down. LoZ.com was also host to a vast library of Zelda media, including full soundtracks for almost every game, as well as thousands of images, both official and fan-created.
