Following the {{Term|TotK|Upheaval|link}}, Gerudo Town was covered by a {{Term|TotK|Sand Shroud|link}} that made it almost impossible for anyone to navigate the desert, and soon came under attack by a horde of {{Plural|TotK|Gibdo|link}} that could not be harmed by the soldiers' weapons. The majority of Gerudo Town's inhabitants have consequently taken refuge in an underground shelter until the situation can be resolved, while Gerudo Town itself is nearly deserted and full of Gibdos.
