In {{SS}}, the Adventure Pouch is given to [[Link]] by [[Fledge]] to aid him in his quest to find [[Princess Zelda|Zelda]].<ref>{{Cite|That green uniform looks so... adventurous! When one of these items is obtained while the Adventure Pouch is full, the obtained item will be sent to the [[Item Check]] in the [[Bazaar (Skyward Sword)|Bazaar]]. If Link has the [[Cursed Medal]] equipped, he cannot open his Adventure Pouch and cannot equip a Shield in exchange for [[Treasure]]s and Rupees appearing more often.

The Adventure Pouch can hold up to four items when Link obtains it,<ref name= "Adventure Pouch"/> however, the pouch can be upgraded to increase its capacity. Each upgrade allows Link to carry an extra item in it. Three upgrades can be bought from [[Beedle's Air Shop]] for 300, 600, and 1,200 [[Rupee]]s respectively. The final upgrade can be found inside a [[Goddess Cube Chest]] at [[Pumpkin Landing]] that can be unlocked by striking a [[Goddess Cube]] found outside [[Skyview Temple]].
