The southern portion of the island is populated, whereas the northern territory is a wild grove. The [[Wayfarer's Words]] can be found scattered throughout the island, which many of the inhabitants find to be a nuisance. The [[shovel]] can be found in a cave in the island, which is required for finding a safe route through the foggy passage in the Northwestern Sea. Aside from [[Mercay Island|Mercay]], this is the only village island that has a [[temple]] on it, the [[Temple of Courage]]. It can be found on the back of the isle, but to access it, [[Link]] needs a [[Salvage Arm]] from [[Eddo]] on [[Cannon Island]], since a [[Eye Plant#Giant Eye Plant|Giant Eye Plant]] will be ready to attack Link before landing on the island again. With the help of the {{Term|PH|Shovel}}, a {{Term|PH|Treasure Map|link}} can be unveiled from the ground at the roots of a tree on the second small island. On the smaller island to the left of the treasure map, there is a smaller island that has a Big Red Rupee which can be obtained by using the shovel in the middle of the island.
 
Two {{Plural|PH|Big Green Rupee|link}} can be found in patches of dirt inside the {{Term|PH|Old Wayfarer}}'s hideaway. A third {{Term|PH|Big Green Rupee}} can be found by digging just under the {{Term|PH|Tree}} south of {{Term|PH|Romanos}} and {{Term|PH|Maronie|link}}'s house.


This is also the place where Link will find the [[Shooting Gallery#Phantom Hourglass|Archery Game]], which is unlocked after beating the Temple of Courage.
