Kakariko Windmill: Difference between revisions

Right below the windmill is a door that leads to the windmill hut. It is home to the [[Guru-Guru|Windmill Man]], a music enthusiast who is trying to come up with a musical theme inspired by the windmill.<ref>{{cite|I'm a music man who loves to go around and around! I'm trying to come up with a musical theme inspired by this windmill...going around and around and around!!!|[[Guru-Guru|Windmill Man]]|Ocarina of Time}}</ref> After drawing the [[Master Sword]] from its [[Pedestal of Time|pedestal]], Link can go back and speak with the Windmill Man, who recalls that, seven years ago, a [[Young Link|kid]] came to the windmill and played a [[Song of Storms|strange melody]], causing the windmill to dramatically speed up.<ref>{{cite|Grrrrrrrrr! I'll never forget what happened on that day, seven years ago! Grrrrrrrrr! It's all that Ocarina kid's fault! Next time he comes around here, I'm gonna mess him up!|Windmill Man|Ocarina of Time}}</ref> If Link shows him the [[Ocarina of Time (Item)|Ocarina of Time]], Guru-Guru will teach him the Song of Storms, which is the song that Link played as a kid in front of the music enthusiast.<ref>{{cite|That reminds me of that time, seven years ago! It messed up this windmill!|Windmill Man|Ocarina of Time}}</ref> The young hero can then go back seven years and play that same melody inside the windmill, which will drain the Kakariko Well completely and allow entry to the [[Bottom of the Well]] in order to search for the [[Lens of Truth]].

Inside the windmill hut is a [[Heart Container#Piece of Heart|Piece of Heart]] that can only be reached after entering the hut through [[Dampé's Grave]]. Once Link emits from the grave, he will stumble into the upper level of the inside of the hut, allowing the young hero to ride on top of the spinning platforms and thus reach the Piece of Heart.
