These are found in the Kokiri Forest region in Ocarina of Time, and are very annoying plants on stalks that lunge forward and bite you. These plants can also be found in Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess. Some types simply spin in place, but all versions remain curled into a discreet ball until the player comes too close. They can be killed by a simple slash of the sword, and usually leave a Deku Stick or a Deku Nut. The Boko Baba is very similar and the two are probably related.
