The Deku Toad is the mini-boss of the [[Lakebed Temple]]. The Deku Toad attacks by jumping to the ceiling and trying to land on Link, and by hatching the [[Toado]] eggs on his back. Once you defeat all of the Toados, the Deku Toad will leap to the ceiling again, and if he misses, he will get tired and stick out his tongue. You can also force him to stick out his tongue by firing a Bomb Arrow into his mouth when he opens it. Once his tongue is out, he can be damaged by slashing it with the sword. After a few hits he will go down and spit up a chest with the [[Clawshot]]. He is a giant version of the enemy [[Toadpolis]], that are similar to the [[Octorok]]s in other Zelda games. | |||
