Din is one of the three creator goddesses of Hyrule, and arguably Termina. She, along with her sisters Nayru and Farore formed the world of Zelda out of chaos, each providing their part in the process. According to Ocarina of Time, Din, "With her strong flaming arms, she cultivated the land and created the red earth." Upon departure, they left the triforce, the essence of their power, in the sacred realm.

Din, the Goddess of Power, formed the terrain of Hyrule. She is the master of fire magic, and the spell Din's Fire is (obviously) named after her. The Din's Pearl, belonging to the Rito people, is also named after her.

Because of her role in creating the land and her association with her avatar, the Oracle of Seasons who weilds power over Nature, it is very likely Din is the deity that the Earth Temple is dedicated to.

Oracle Games

In Oracle of Seasons the Oracle of Seasons is known as Din. When you first meet her she appears to be but a mere dancer, but it is soon revealed that without her powers the seasons of Holodrum fall in to chaos.

The Minish Cap

Din also makes a small apperance in The Minish Cap. It is said that she comes from a far away place, most likely Holodrum, and is a dancer there. Because of these similarities to the Oracle of Seasons, she is probably the Oracle on a trip through time and space using her and Nayru's powers.
