Smog was a different type of monster than what Link had previously encountered. This monster was, like the others, willing to fight, but it was far more interested in playing games with him, dividing himself up into two or three pieces then attacking him while he tried to recombine the pieces. By using the Cane of Somaria to manipulate Smog's path, as well as pushing various other blocks around that Smog had created, he was able to forcibly recombine him, attacking him until he discombined then repeating the pattern. Eventually, Smog succumbed to his wounds, leaving Link victorious once again. | |||
