Iron Knuckle Knights are Enemies in Cadence of Hyrule.[name references needed]

Characteristics

The Iron Knuckle Knight will start its movement at the edge of the screen and go left to right or right to left. The mount puts its head down for one wind-up step, and then the following 3 moves will be 1 step forward, every turn, with the potential to go diagonally one space on each of those moves as well if the player is at a diagonal position from the knight. After that, the knight will hop 2 steps forward (and optionally 1 space up/down) every turn until it reaches the edge of the screen, at which point it turns around and starts this pattern again.

The best way for the player to position for guaranteed damage is to stand 5 spaces horizontally and 3 spaces vertically away. When stood in this area, the knight will move in the following sequence: 1 step forward, 1 step diagonally towards the player, one step forward, and then a hop 2 spaces forward and 1 space up. At this point, the player can attack its head -- the head is the only part the player can damage. Once defeated, the Iron Knuckle Knight will lose the mount and turn into a standard Iron Knuckle Chieftain.
