They first appear in the opening chapter, where they are to begin checking on Vaati's seal due to a premonition of [[Zelda]] that he would return. When checking the seal on the Four Sword, they suddenly vanish, and [[Shadow Link]] appears, capturing Zelda and sending Link to the [[Four Sword Sanctuary]].

The four Links; Green, Red, Blue and Vio later meet the Blue Maiden in [[Hyrule Castle]], who saves them from [[Shadow Link]]. Unfortunately, they do not have enough ~~[[Force]]~~ to break the seal on her crystal prison, so they are forced to leave her there to return later.
