:::::In the edit view, there's a toolbox at the top and bottom of the text area. You can click the four tildes after "Sign your username:" to automatically insert them. Also, you can click the box which looks like a handwritten signature at the top of the edit view. Either of these will automatically insert the four tildes for you.
