Hey I was just wondering, since I am new here, if you could give me a few tips like how to ad a page to your watchlist? Linkthehero talk

Hi, and welcome to Zelda Wiki. Adding a page to your watchlist is simple, and can be done a number of ways. You can click on the 'watch' tab at the top of the page you want to watch. Alternatively, when you're editing a page you can tick the "Watch this page" box just above the 'show preview button' before you click on save page. Lastly, you can go to Special:Watchlist/raw and manually type in the names of the pages you want to appear on your watchlist.
As for some other tips. When you write a new topic on someones talk page remember to start it in a new section, by putting the title between some equals signs, like this: == == . Also, make sure when you leave a message on talk pages that you sign it with ~~~~ so the person knows who you are. You will find plenty of other tips in the Help Guide, and me and the rest of the staff are happy to answer any other concerns or questions that you may have. - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 00:58, 10 April 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks a lot dude that was very helpful. I'm just not that good at looking through the help page. Oh and sorry it took me so long to reply i forgot... On another note I don't think my mac laptop can do the squiggly signature thingys... *embarrassed* -User:Linkthehero
No problem, I'm being a bit slow to reply myself at the moment. As for tildes (~) on Macs, I'm not terribly familiar with Macs, but although it's not on the keyboard, I think you can get them by hitting "option key" and "n". Otherwise you could try copy/pasting them from elsewhere on ZW. If you're not comfortable looking through the help guide, me and the rest of the staff are happy to answer any queries you have, so don't be shy. :) - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 22:50, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
In the edit view, there's a toolbox at the top and bottom of the text area. You can click the four tildes after "Sign your username:" to automatically insert them. Also, you can click the box which looks like a handwritten signature at the top of the edit view. Either of these will automatically insert the four tildes for you. Hope that helps!Justin(Talk) 23:19, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ha, I forgot about them. Someone needs to get back into wiki editing habbits. ;) - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 02:05, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It's okay, Mel. We'll forgive because you write such great articles :PJustin(Talk) 16:39, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
