The Chief Soldier appears as the boss of two stages in Four Swords Adventures, reappearing later as a normal enemy. Normally accompanied by a large group of soldiers, the Chief Soldier is comparatively much larger and tougher. They behave similarly to the Big Dark Stalfos. The soldiers seem to respond by going back or forward when the Blue chief says "Back!" or "Forth!" It attacks with a powerful thrust attack that if it misses leaves the Chief Soldier wide open for a counter attack to the back or side.
