The damage tunic doubles the amount of damage Link takes. It can only be acquired by using a glitch, in which the player must kill 89 on screen enemies without leaving the overworld, then the player must kill an enemy or enemies which has an index of 03. The indices differ depending on the enemy/enemies. The tunic is permanent, and can only be changed by visiting/revisiting the Color Dungeon, or by preforming the glitch again but ending with a different index. The glitch can be done as soon as the player acquires the sword.
