Overview
Sages at LoZ.com are a special usergroup, denoted by a yellow username and a banner in signatures, comprising all members known to have been a member of LoZ.com's forums for 2 or more years.
History
The Sages have existed on LoZ.com for an unknown number of years, but before their current incarnation, they were the board's most prestigious members. While they did not have moderator power, to be a member of the Sages was the utmost honor that could be bestowed. The old board description likened the Sages to the Illuminati, like a secret society of intellectuals. Moderators were not guaranteed Sage-status, and a few moderators at the time the group was re-purposed were not Sages.
