File:To Do's.png Quite a few articles, i.e. most articles, do not have enough or any sources. This is quickly becoming unacceptable. We encourage members to locate and add sources to these articles. A list of articles in need of sources can be found at: Articles lacking sources. That list is by no means complete. There are countless other articles that need sources. Pieces of Heart are helpful in the Zelda universe, and they're helpful at Zelda Wiki.org. Here's a useful hint from the archive: The correct format for adding links to game titles from the Legend of Zelda series is using a piped link to the game's article, but showing the short version of the title and written in italics. For example you'd have to type this: ''[[The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker|The Wind Waker]]'' to display the correct link like this: The Wind Waker You might thing that seems like a lot of hard work, and you'd be right! So why not use a nifty shortcut? Templates have been set up enabling you to use the game's abbreviated initials to make the same link, so all you'd need to type in this example is: {{subst:TWW}} Once you save the page, this will be automatically replaced with the long-winded link above! Community Announcements

File:Announcements.png May 12th, 2009 - Note on Images: A lot of images across Zelda Wiki have white backgrounds, which need to be removed and made transparent. We also have a number of screenshots with large chunks of black around them which need to be cropped down to just the image itself. Those who have software to make such alterations to images are free to do so and we greatly appreciate that. Otherwise please point images needing these changes out for others to fix up. You may do so on the image request page. May 7th, 2009 - A new template for out-of-date articles that need to be updated has been created. Type {{Update}} to add it to a page. April 30th, 2009 - We welcome the website LegendOfZelda.com as the newest Mastermind to Zelda Wiki.org. If you run a Legend of Zelda fansite why not become a part of Zelda Wiki? April 16th, 2009 - Zelda Wiki has now taken an active role at Facebook. If you're a member at Facebook become a fan and join the group. Spread the word of Zelda Wiki through the number one friend networking site on the web. April 15th, 2009 - We give many welcomes to Zelda Temple who is the newest site to join the masterminds of Zelda Wiki. From File:The heart container logo.png
