An Ergtorok is a form of Octive that lives in the Sand Temple in Spirit Tracks. They attack in the same manner as Octives but are more intelligent when doing so. They go underground when their attacks are deflected back at them. To defeat them, Link must use the Sand Wand on them when they are scurrying underground, making them dizzy and vulnerable to attack. In order to attack them, however, Link himself must get on top of the sand hill created by the Sand Wand and thus be able to reach the Ergtoroks.
