Within the dungeon, the early part to be explored is a maze filled with enemies and treasure. Once Link makes it through the maze, he finds the boss room straight ahead. Apparently, no one is waiting for Link in there. The young hero then goes to the upper floor after walking through some conveyer belts (this is the first dungeon where they appear); with some rooms visited, Link finds one with a bombable ground. By making a hole in there, light reaches the boss room, but still there's no signal from anybody. Link finally goes to the lower levels where he finds both the Titan's Mitt, useful to lift heavier and bigger objects, and a girl trapped in a cell. She asks to be rescued, but refuses to go outside into the light or to the top floor. Instead, Link takes her to the boss room. Once in the light, she is revealed to be Blind the Thief, the actual boss. After archieving victory, Link gains a Heart Container and rescues the true Maiden.

The dungeon is located in the center of the Village of Outcasts. The entrance to Theives' Town is the same place where the Weathercock is in Kakariko Village, and is protected by iron bars which can be pulled off from the entrance.

Themes and Navigation

Within the dungeon, the early part to be explored is a maze filled with enemies and treasure. Once Link makes it through the maze, he finds the boss room straight ahead. Apparently, no one is waiting for Link in there. The young hero then goes to the upper floor after walking through some conveyer belts; with some rooms visited, Link finds one with a bombable ground.

The way the boss is found makes this dungeon different from the others. Only Snowpeak Ruins in Twilight Princess reuses the concept.
