The Twilight Princess part of this article needs to be edited. It states that there are several great fairies and that the individuals release fairies. There is only one Great Fairy in TP and she is the queen of all fairies.

Zora Cape

I was wrong about the area name coming up when the enter that part of the beach, but there's still no proof that Zora Cape is just the little area off of Zora Hall. First of all, a cape is like a peninsula, while that little area is simply a bit of rock connected to a shell, jutting out of the ocean. Second, all the Owl Statues are named by the area they are found it, not on a tiny geographical feature. If Zora Cape wasn't the name of the area, it'd probably be named Zora Hall on the warp point. - Pokemega32 14:38, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

I agree with Pokemega. I think Zora Cape is that entire area. I mean think of it this way. Once you warp to the owl statue that's the area your located in at least until you experience a wash out effect and it loads a new screen. Since you can warp to the owl and go to the fairy without experiencin this I'd have to say it's in the same area. Saying it's not would be like saying that since the fairy by Woodfall is 30 feet away from the statue it's located in the Swamp not Woodfall. Archon 15:26, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

I just went inside the Zora Hall then back out to that area that you guys call Zora Cape and the name comes up as Great Bay Coast. If it were named Zora Cape, it would say Zora Cape instead of Great Bay Coast. I don't know what more proof there needs to be to show that the area is called Great Bay Coast and not Zora Cape. Yeah, it still says Great Bay Coast. And hey, no trouble at all. This is why talk pages exist, so that things like this can be discussed in order to have the most correct, complete version of articles. ;) Dany36 17:21, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Majora's Mask Great Fairies

This is something I noticed the other day when I was going through and getting screen shots of the Great Fairies. When you first return the Stray Fairies to the Great Fairy found by the Snowhead Temple, she tells you she's the Great Fairy of Wisdom and then she doubles your magic meter. But when you go visit her after receiving the upgrade and returning to the first day, and of course getting all the Stray Fairies, she tells you that she's the Great Fairy of Courage. Likewise the Great Fairy found near the Great Bay Coast first tells you she's the Great Fairy of Courage and then the Great Fairy of Wisdom after receiving the enhanced defense. Obviously we want to keep this as accurate as possible. Which do we use? Courage at Snowhead and Wisdom at Great Bay Coast? or Vice Versa? Oniriku 13:47, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Yess, this is strange. If we switch them, rewards they give will be the same as their respective OoT counterparts, but the colors won't match anymore that of Courage and Wisdom. I don't know which version is correct. It should be mentioned on the article (or at least on Trivia). Jeangabin 20:26, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

I think that the colors should match with Wisdom and Courage. Otherwise I probably would have gone through and changed them by now. I agree that something should be mentioned at least, but I would like to hear what other people have to say. Oniriku 23:24, 19 July 2010 (UTC)

Appearantly, according to the Japanese and European versions, the Great Fairy at Snowhead (green) is the Great Fairy of Wisdom and the Great Fairy of Great Bay (blue) is the Great Fairy of Courage. I also thought about that: if one doesn't gather the Stray Fairies a second time, he would never know that their names will be switched (so, maybe we shouldn't make the colors match to Courage and Wisdom). The coloration has only been (mostly) constant in the 3D games, for example in ALttP the Pendant of Wisdom is red while the Pendant of Power is blue. Courage is the usual green. So this isn't the only time things have been a little different than normal. (Though OoT was the one changing the colors in the first place). PureLocke(User/Talk) 04:47, 15 August 2010 (EDT)

I uploaded new screenshots of the Great Fairies from the first visit. Now we can choose which version we would like to use. I have it set right now so the first visit screenshots are the ones used. Oniriku 21:33, 29 August 2010 (UTC)

I also changed the table so it matched the screenshots. Something I just realized I did, when I updated the screenshots, I matched the color of the Great Fairy and not its name. So the Great Fairy of Wisdom is under the file name for the Great Fairy of Courage and vice versa. The screenshots are in the right places in the table. If they need to be changed I can do that. Merging sections

The problem is that their is now 16 Zelda games, and this article begins to become over-sized. If we want to prevent having 20 sections, we should merge some. Great Fairies in OoT and MM have the same model, and same names; merging those sections helps to see the Great Fairies' characteristics per name. Great fairies in LA and OoX are exactly the same; the OoA section isn't that big and is half about Stary Fairies (which never reunite into a Great Fairy in this game) and the Fairy Queen. I understand where you are coming from, but there are some weapon articles longer than this! It's not a matter of muffin-topping, its a matter of focusing the content in the best way possible. I feel that merging the sections in an article this complex would only lead to confusion; thus, I belive that we should just leave it as is. Look at me, defending an article organized "by-game"! Missing Great Fairy...?

OK, I can distinctly recall seeing a Great Fairy that looked something like this [1] (no official photo available to my memory, so I'm using this one because it was on one of the affiliates' updates today) on this page in the past, but I can seem to find it here, or on any other Fairy pages.
