Cawlin, along with Strich, is a student at the Knight Academy and a friend and henchman to Link's personal rival, Groose. He, Groose and Strich have a reputation for being bullies.
Cawlin has a crush on Karane and asks Link to deliver a love letter he wrote to her.[1] However, the player has a choice between delivering the letter to Karane or the strange apparition that appears in the Academy's restroom at night. Doing either will result in five Gratitude Crystals.
